The Rosedale Wellness Expo is designed for the students, parents, teachers and wider community of Rosedale.

Showcasing proactive strategies for mental and physical wellbeing, and offering speakers from a wide range of professions and experiences, the Expo will enhance the wellbeing of all who attend.

This is a free whole day event and members of the Rosedale community are invited to participate in as many sessions as desired.

I love my job with headspace as the Community and Youth Engagement Officer. I work closely with community services and networks so that headspace is well-known as a centre that supports the young people in our region. I also walk alongside our Youth Engagement Committee, of around 23 young volunteers, to help spread the headspace message and break down stigma among our peers. headspace is for young people aged 12 to 25 years who need support with mental health and wellbeing.

Nathan Van der Klugt - Rhee Tae Kwon-Do BundabergNathan Van der Klugt – Rhee Tae Kwon-Do Bundaberg

Nathan began learning the Art of Rhee Taekwondo in 1995 at the age of 15 and since then has had the privilege of learning under and alongside of some of the Arts most talented instructors. Since 2003 Nathan has been appointed as the Kwan Jang Nim (regional Instructor) for Bundaberg and has furthered his abilities to instruct and help students achieve their self-defence goals directly under the tuition of the Arts founder, World Master Chong Chul Rhee.

An advocate for self-improvement and reading Nathan adopts many life lessons and self-education teachings into his classes to give his students the benefit of a balanced martial art lifestyle. Fun lessons combined with practical self-defence technique he has been able to help hundreds of Bundaberg children, teens and adults become extraordinary people and martial artists.

Paul is the founder of several successful companies and creator of dozens of individual businesses and profit centres for his clients in Australia and Internationally. He specialises in the establishment of education, membership and events companies in industries that assist people create the life that they want and to life it powerfully.

Steve Howard - TAFE QueenslandSteve Howard – TAFE Queensland

After serving 17 years with Big W, Steve Howard’s career took a different direction when he started working in the Employment Services sector with Mission Australia as an Employment Consultant in 2007. This was a very enlightening and rewarding position, assisting people back into employment. Steve progressed with Mission Australia taking on the Sales Representative role and then ultimately taking on the role of Job Seeker Solutions Managers at the Mission Australia site in Bundaberg in 2012. This role was responsible for overseeing multiple sites in the Bundaberg/Wide Bay area and managing a team of 12 consultants. In this time Steve undertook further development training and obtained Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as well as an Advanced Diploma in Management.

Steve was given the opportunity in June of 2015 to move into what is now his current role as Business Development Officer with TAFE Queensland. In this role Steve is responsible for engaging with Key stakeholders within the community, establishing a good rapport and getting to know peoples business, undertaking an in depth training needs analysis and from there developing a detailed and flexible training plan that meets the needs of the business.

Adele is a mum of two children a daughter aged 14 and a son aged 12.  With over 25 years in the Health Care industry Adele has worked with families and individuals to focus on what brings them together in the face of change and adversity.  Vision, Awareness and Trust are the key anchors to happy, healthy families and Adele is committed to assisting individuals especially youth to gain the necessary tools to achieve and maintain this.

Adele has written for a number of magazines, writes her own blog and runs events to inspire local communities.
