Pausing your membership

We are happy to pause your membership if you will be away from the studio for five days or more. Due to the administration administration time needed and limited number of staff available, we are unable to offer a pause for anything period shorter than a five day duration. This is one of the terms to consider when purchasing a membership.

Reasons that you might request a pause include holidays, illness, injury or work related issues.

We do not offer retrospective pauses. If you do not inform us before the date before the date of the pause, we cannot offer you time in lieu or a refund. Request for pauses must be in writing via a text message to our contact number 0447 785 857

or by email - katie@happinessyoga.com.au

Canceling your membership

Direct Debit memberships can be cancelled without incurring financial consequences at any time. Students can self manage cancellation of the membership through the Momence App  website. This feature is not currently available in the app.

It is up to students to manage their subscription through their Momence App  account. Student will have credits available for the amount of time that the membership is paid up to, regardless of the date of cancellation.

Refunds

Refunds are offered under certain conditions. These include significant injury or illness that results in a return to the studio is impossible for a extended duration of time (such as 6 months)

Credit packages have a generous time frame attached to them to ensure that is ample opportunity to access them except under the most serious of circumstances.

If a package is bought and the student moves locations before credits are used, we do offer transfer to another family member or friend in some circumstances. We do not offer refunds due to location changes.

They cannot be offered because credits did not get used in the amount of time allocated. Studio running costs continue to be incurred whether credits are used or not. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that they are mindful of their capacity to utilise credits purchased in the time frame attached to each class package.

Credits

Please note that it takes 2 credits to book a 60 minute class. The studio does occasionally offer 30 minute and 45 minutes  I’m having a double credit model, allows us to offer a proportional price for shorter classes.

If you purchase a 10 class pass, you will receive 20 credits. This does not mean 20 classes but gives you the option to book into 10 classes of choice.

Credits will be deducted from your account when you book the class and can be returned if you cancel your class booking within the allocated time (available up to 60 minutes before start of the class)

If you book a class and do not show up, credits are not automatically refunded. When you book a class, you make a commitment to yourself. We staff our classes around these bookings. If you do not attend your booked session, we have still provided the service and therefore a refund is not applicable. Please read below.

Refunds of credits when a class is booked and not attended

Due to the limited amount of floor space in our studio which means that classes book out and that non-attendance can take a space in the room from another paying student, it is not our policy to refund classes that are booked but not attended.

We do understand that extenuating circumstances come up and we are compassionate to this. Students can cancel their own classes through the website. Yo to an hour before.

If it’s a one off or emergency situation and the students makes a genuine effort to contact the teacher and inform them of the situation, we may choose to use discretion and refund the credits.

Children and animals

We do not provide creche or childcare facilities at the studio. Unfortunately, it is not a suitable space for children to be left unattended.

If you have an older child who is able to quietly wait and be self occupied in the foyer area while you attend class without disrupting our patrons, please contact us and we will see if we can accommodate you.

Animals are not permitted in the studio.

Important considerations for all students

Inform a teacher if there is anything they should be mindful of during class regarding your current state of health. Safety and well-being are of primary importance to our studio so if you are pregnant, injured or likely to need additional assistance, please let your teacher know before class.  It is a good idea to make a practice of this, even if you have told the teacher before to make sure that it is present  and center focused in their mind.
