Welcome to Happiness Yoga & Wellness!

Happiness Yoga is a small boutique studio in the heart of beautiful Bargara beach. 

Our ceiling is equipped with infrared hot yoga panels as well as ducted air conditioning. We have specialised soft mat yoga flooring designed to be supportive of bones and joints and a mirrored wall in the teaching space to allow students to assess their alignment and make adjustments. 

A range of props are available to support students in their practice, including mats available for visiting students. 

We have a vibrant community of yogis of all ages and levels of practice. We offer different class styles daily to meet the needs of all of our students. 

Students can choose the levels of challenge or ease, relaxation of intensity that they are seeking on the day. 

The Happiness Studio is surrounded by gorgeous local beaches and a vibrant cafe community. Many of our students make new friends and choose to enjoy a hot beverage, conversation and connection together after our classes. Our studio is a wonderful place to meet other members of your community. We encourage a friendly, open vibe and love it when new friendships blossom before and after class.

Hello! In case you are new to Happiness yoga, I thought I would introduce myself- Hello, my name is Katie 💛🙏🏻

 I am the studio owner and main teacher here at our charming little coastal studio. It is my greatest joy to be living my dream every day, teaching the practice I love to members of my community and visitors to the region. I’ve been practicing yoga for half my life and teaching the practice in studios for over 10 years. 

Each teacher has their own unique way of offering the teachings and physical practice of yoga. 

My yoga flow classes centre around creative Vinyasa imbued with musical inspiration, my Pilates classes focus on balance and fun while giving a whole-body workout and my relaxing yoga and Yin classes have breath and energy cultivation at their heart. 

It’s always a different experience / flow when you come onto a yoga mat with me. My intention is to offer variation, exploration and space for playfulness through individual expression in our practices together. 

I am passionate about imbuing our classes with the wisdom of Traditional Chinese medicine. I use the principles in my daily practice to increase my vitality and find more harmonious balance in my life. We offer Qi gong and Yin yoga classes that focus on the TCM energy pathways in the body. 

Along with me, we are blessed with a small team of instructors that offer their own wonderful styles of yoga and Pilates classes in our studio 🙏🏻

We love new and beginning yogis as well as more seasoned practitioners.
